To do to get by,
And if that means crushing other people,
Well, they must not have tried,
Or maybe they did not have the skill,
To do what you could do,
And you only really showed them that,
Which has nothing to do with you.
And I'm not saying that you're guiltless,
Because you knew what would happen,
Your only fault was letting it drag on,
Because you wanted to seem innocent.
And it's alright,
Your intentions were good,
You were just not brought up,
To be all that you could.
