Duty

When you have things to do,
Do them when you have the things,
Because things don't last for ever,
Or the ability of using,

Them, because you don't always have the time,
Unless you forsake all else for them,
Which may undermine the need for them at all,
Disturbing the equilibrium,

Which is found when you do nothing at all,
And let the current take you where it will.
That's not the only way to find balance,
Though the energy needed is nil.

But it's alright,
If you want to go ahead and try.
That can be the most satisfying way,
Unless the universe was very kind.
