It assumes fathoming,
When half of us don't know what we're saying,
The issue's compounding,
When the rest just really don't give a fuck,
Words become dangerous,
For despite the fact that they're meaningless,
They're like a person's soul's book's page for us,
Worse than when there is misunderstanding,
There's mutual capiche,
People embark on barbaric crusades,
What havoc they unleash.
It's not all bad,
I'll have to give you that,
Though the beauty of peace is often smashed,
When those who don't get it overreact.
