As a whole, after they're dead,
Every moment seems to be leading up,
To when their life comes to a head.
Though everything in reality goes against it,
Including intentions, thoughts and ways of the time.
The final outcome can be traced back to any moment,
And so, every moment was a necessary kind.
Even those moves that are bad no matter what,
Led one onto the trail to one that was good.
And if that life is an enviable one,
Everything seems to have gone as it should.
So it's alright,
Even if every move from now on just sucks,
As long as in the end I come out on top,
My life will seem filled with nothing but luck.
