But I'm never giving up.
If you think that I'm being too optimistic,
I know exactly what's in my cup.
All I need to do is have faith in the world,
And the belief that there is something for me.
It can't be that I live outside of it all.
I'm much too human to believe that might be.
I think about the lives that take care of themselves,
And of all the people depending on them.
I don't mean people like leaders of countries.
They live in worlds that I'll never understand.
And it's alright,
Politics has it's place somewhere.
But even if it was in the proverbial Eden,
I would not go there.
