Back to where I started,
And if you asked me if I'm any different,
I'd have to go back to where I parted,
From the self that does all I must do,
To allow myself the freedom,
To go where I want until I have to get back,
To the life of tedium.
Which isn't that bad because at least I like,
The things that I have to do,
But, of course, if I were to have the choice,
I'd be doing something new.
And it's alright,
One day I'll figure it out,
And be doing the things I want all of the time,
Probably by changing my mind, no doubt.
