To beat down a man,
If you compare it to the energy needed
To be all you can,
Against the resistance of the world at large,
Not just against your own instinct,
To suppress desire, because more than your own health,
You worry about what other people might think,
Though, what you think they think is actually,
Very powerful.
So, think that they're thinking wonderful things,
And you'll have elimated your greatest foe.
And it's alright,
If you can't let go of the thought,
That everyone is really out to get you.
You're probably not that far off.
