Interpretation

You can't misinterpret motives,
For all you have in your world,
Are your interpretations of it,
So they all make up the same circle.

And if what you are hearing offends you,
Then, don't be afraid to speak against it,
But don't be surprised if what you think is denied,
For others have their own world, let's face it.

And so maybe the trick is to give,
Others the benefit of the doubt,
For even if they mean it the way it sounds,
Your innocence may make them throw their ignorance out.

And it's alright,
If they never change their ways,
Your last laugh is that you are living in bliss,
And they're miserable as they abase.
