Always Happy, Always Sad

Lives can be lived,
Simultaneously,
In fact there's no avoiding some kind of,
Duplicity,

For no one truly knows who one is,
That is what is called consciousness,
And what leads to doing one thing and wanting another,
In perpetualness.

So reason out the reasons why,
You may not see that you,
Will always want what you cannot have,
Even when you do.

And that's alright,
That is the whole point.
Understanding why the grass is always greener,
Is when the universe anoints.
