With the wave of airplanes,
People who have been the least diligent,
Who’ll be first to complain,
Of coughing and fever and lack of smell,
After backyard bonfires,
Forget flattening the curve after that,
Unless we pull the starting point higher,
They say it’s not about not getting it,
But managing the stream,
So the hospitals can manage the sick,
Without choosing who’s seen,
And who will die,
Which, yes, exceeds the flu,
Another wave is the reoccurrence,
Of the next Covid, this is practice, too.
