If you're going to continue,
And that means forgetting all those around you,

For, if not, then you have lost a great deal,
Of what you consider to be your core,
And then you may as well just give up,

When you could walk into a room and not care,
That you were in the loudest suit in the world,
Heck, it helped defined who you really were,
Even if it never got you the girl.
I guess it's alright,
If you want to go away and hide,
Life is a very multi-layered thing,
And who am I to say in which to reside?
