Our government's out for us?
And by 'out', I don't mean 'looking to get',
But is representing our purposes.
I have my desires and they don't really fit,
With the desires of those around me,
But we all count on those we've voted in,
To create a pleasant society.
And in that government are others who,
Themselves are looking to be represented,
And have different desires from me,
But who run this government.
Well, it's alright,
Because as long as we acknowledge this fact,
We can then figure out how to minimize bias,
We just have to do the math.
