Nothing's Perfect

Things are never quite what,
You expect them to be,
Mostly because in the thick of it,
You forget everything.

But, if you envision what you want,
Your body will follow suit,
And like a passenger on a train,
The route is set and you enjoy the route,

And come back home and tell the world what you saw,
As if it was nothing that you did yourself.
Oh, how I wish I could remember that advice,
When I go to do something myself.

But, it's alright,
The trick is having the chance again,
And you do that by keeping keeping going,
Until you get to the station.
