A Regrouping

These moments are not fair,
Some choose not to see them,
For fear it pulls them into depression,
As slow as teeth ease in,

Others embrace them like that's all there is,
Which is impossible,
They paint all good times like feeling the wind,
Like an insurmountable obstacle,

Not to say that life's a bowl of cherries,
Y'can't be a thing you make,
It's a dichotomy of good and bad,
Both of them claim a stake,
Not ev'rywhere,
There's e'er ambivalence,
The place from which you see them coexisting,
Despite a wholly lack of evidence.
