As if you're someone new,
Is there limit to reinvention,
That don't allow you to?
As if you will always be who you are,
No matter age or state,
There is not one person in history,
Whose life's actions this could repudiate,
But as David Hume has reminded us,
God, Dave, it's been so long,
Just 'cause the sun's risen since you were born,
It not rising's not wrong,
It's what it is,
So go and prove them wrong,
Be everything you've ever wanted to,
Carrying any naysayers along.
