How lonely you must be,
Phone calls and greetings from six feet away,
Can't satisfy your needs,
While no one claims to know the duration,
Of this isolation,
They know that solitary confinement,
Is cruel and unusu'l punishment,
At least we all can still buy booze and weed,
That law appears prudent,
Drinking alone beats being with your thoughts,
Unadulterated.
But, then again,
If you're ere dependent,
The hospitals can't deal with your detox,
If they must also handle this Covid.
