Couldn't keep me from you,
Except so far as I have to stay home,
Just like you have to, too,
Thank god this thing cannot last forever,
Or that's what people see,
Who look around with incredulity,
Without a virology Ph.D.
Yet still, we will all learn to live with this,
Plus the others to come,
The new normal can't be weirder than what,
Was just before this one,
So take my hand,
Tell me, how does that feel?
I have to tell you after all these months,
It would be hard to describe it as real.
