Can either haunt you as what could have been,
That you'll never let go,
That might just be the way you operate,
Though there's another way,
Again, only if you're interested,
That is the investment that you must pay,
The reward being greater happiness,
If that's even your thing,
Probably more success than you have had,
Which can be frightening.
If it is not,
Then all you have to do,
Is see each mistake as a step along,
A path that is leading to the best you.
