What it's like to achieve,
Accomplishments like Serena Williams,
Nor should that be my dream,
It's not e'en that I should seek out heroes,
Who look more like I do,
I'd rather celebrate their life's journey,
Then use them as a calibration tool,
Like what is my version of their success?
Would it make me happy?
Is there something 'bout this conversation,
That keeps me from rhyming?
Or's that the point?
They are wholly unique,
Not because they excel at what they do,
But what they searched for only they can seek.
