If You Have Nothing To Hide, Then You May Have Nothing

You know when you've done something,
You want no one else to know,
And your very way of ignoring it,
Leads to your ultimate woe,

Which is preceded by another kind,
Of anxiety and depression,
For the thought of the thing that you've done,
And the implications,

That at the time didn't register,
Because we all think of no one but ourselves,
Except in so far as they relate,
To our own physical and mental health?

Well, it's alright,
You are not alone.
This is called a skeleton in your closet,
And you just have to live with the bones.
