Asked to do something,
You would never do without the incentive,
Of money.
And then you do another something,
And another again and again,
Until your life is mostly these things.
Is this evolution?
Is this an improvement upon what,
We did before we knew to work together?
You better ask the infinitesimally few,
Living without the same tethers.
So to recap, alright?
You spend your life doing what you'd rather not,
To have the privilege of not being killed,
By a less compassionate tyrant.
