The Daily Soldier

You can't just decide,
To become a soldier,
You have to be willing to do some things,
In places that are colder,

No matter the climate,
That's not the point.
You have to steel yourself,
Against the point,

Of sympathy,
To a degree.
Have love for your brother,
And deny others dignity.

Alright, I've never been,
So, who am I to say?
I can only think of what it's like,
To divide the world that way.

Thanks for you comment on my last post. What can you do ? Exactly. That's life. Yep. Hopefully a joyful surrender not grim resignation. Now for today's response :

Every day warriors?
some say we are
No win or lose victory
just here ..so far.
wounds heal
but leave a scar.
