Impact

I'd like to be atavistic,
With all the knowledge possible today.
Then, maybe, a new thought will arise,
Simplistic, yet encouraging.

The notion that nature has risen above,
As if each generation nears perfection,
Is purely relative, as Hume has said.
Movements are only lateral peregrinations.

But within this plane I would like to burst up,
As if a firework or bursting bubble.
Made of the same stuff as the rest of everything,
But creating something a little less subtle.

And it's alright,
If it is missed by everyone,
It's not the type of thing that quickly disappears,
And may not be for this generation.
