Rush

I'm so satisfied,
With the way things are going,
That I wish that society would let you alone,
With just these things.

But then there are the debts and responsibilities,
That, I guess, allow the circumstances,
To exist in which lie the satisfying times,
With which I started these stanzas.

And even this time is a short-lived moment,
That, of course, may never happen again,
But if it doesn't, at least I know that this life,
Can provide such things to humans.

And it's alright,
I'm sure I'll be back,
Of course, you wouldn't know it,
But I've already been gone for a yak.
