The sameness 'mongst the change.
Life is short, but it is extremely long,
There's time to rearrange,
There's time to realize it is magical,
Each day, it is a gift,
When is the last time that you thought of that,
So that your consciousness truly did shift?
It's not trite to appreciate it all,
Existence versus not,
A live dog's better than a dead lion,
No matter what it's got,
Or doesn't got,
Try taking just one day,
Pretending it's your first day on this earth,
Now, what is it that you would like to say?
