Introduces a gene,
Into populations by scientists,
To modify offspring,
They're doing it with mosquitoes right now,
Sending disease away,
Females born of their seed will die before,
They're old enough to bite Burkinabé
This will reduce spread of Malaria
So the theory does go,
Until we see the long-term consequence,
Don't think anyone knows,
Maybe it's good,
I'm sure there's other tests,
Perhaps a gene introduced to humans,
To make us nice to the environment.
